Week 4

Run Your Kickoff

Lock in a date, send calendar invites using the Event Template, and run your kickoff with committed alumni and students. Momentum starts here.

before you launch.

Overthinking the launch

Don't wait for perfect. Send outreach this week with what you have. Done beats perfect every time in a first-semester program.

Generic mass emails

Personalize at least the first line. Mention a specific memory, game, or connection. The templates give you the structure — you add the personal touch.

No follow-up

70% of alumni will ignore the first message. Follow up 3–5 days later. The kit includes follow-up scripts so you're never starting from scratch.

Skipping the kickoff event

This is where momentum starts. Make it happen even if only 5 people show up. The energy from that first event carries the program forward.

Micromanaging pairs
