About Us

We build the systems
mentorship needs to work.

Out of Office Labs was built on one simple belief: mentorship changes lives — but only when it's structured enough to actually happen.

Our Mission

Every student deserves
a path to someone who's been there.

Too many mentorship programs fail not because people don't care — but because there was no system. No structure. No tools to hand off to the next person in charge.

We fix that. We design plug-and-play infrastructure that makes mentorship repeatable, sustainable, and human — without requiring anyone to reinvent it from scratch each year.

What We Believe

The principles behind
everything we build.

🔧

Systems over inspiration

Inspiration gets you started. Systems keep it running. We build for the third year of the program, not just the launch day.

🤝

Relationships are the outcome

Documents and templates are just scaffolding. The real result is a student who has someone in their corner — and an alum who stayed connected.

Done beats perfect

A mentorship program that launches imperfectly this semester does more good than a perfect one that launches never. We build for momentum.

🏫

Built for real constraints

We design for the counselor doing three jobs, the chapter president with 18 credit hours, and the advisor who volunteers on weekends. Real life, not ideal conditions.

🔄

Handoff-ready by design

Every kit we build is designed to be handed off to the next person without losing anything. The knowledge lives in the system, not in someone's head.

📈

Outcomes over activity

We measure what matters — relationships formed, goals met, alumni who stayed engaged — not just meetings held or forms submitted.

Who We Serve

Schools, districts,
and Greek organizations.

We started in K–12 schools, helping administrators and counselors run mentorship programs that fit inside the school day without requiring extra staff.

We expanded into Greek organizations because we saw the same problem: alumni who want to help, students who need mentors, and no system connecting them in a way that sticks.

Both worlds need the same thing — structure that makes the human connection possible, then gets out of the way.

Why Out of Office Labs

We've done the work
so you don't have to.

Every template, handbook, and worksheet in our kits has been built from real mentorship programs — not from a whiteboard. We've seen what works and what falls apart, and we've baked those lessons into every document.
